Not only will there be one or more large dungeon play parties throughout NYC on all three nights. But also you can see and have a chance to use world-class dungeon equipment in some very unique playspace all around Manahttan on all almost around the clock schedule. We are trying to set up a NON-STOP Play schedule for those who are so inclined, by using the best NYC Dungeon space available. Now you know why they call it the city that never sleeps. At TES 2000, play opportunities will abound.
On Sunday, West 13th Street between 9th Avenue and Washington Street will be blocked off from 2pm to 8pm. Savor the NY Street fair experience BDSM-style. We will have a bizarre bazaar of Kinky scene merchants and artisans. Enjoy NYC street cuisine and hang out with friends. Workshops and seminars will be offered nearby. This is the one conference event that will be open to the public for a nominal charge.
Vendors will be displaying a wide variety of scene merchandise including toys, scenewear fashions, whips, floggers, corsety, books, latex, novelties, and more.
Many of the best known scene vendors will be participating. Some who have already indicated an intention to vend are:
| Purple Passion | |
| The Toy Bag | |
| Heartwood Whips of Passion | |
| Dressing for Pleasure | |
| D/S Desires | |
| Fetishes Boutique | |
| La Chateau Exotique | |
| SamCo | |
| Leather Harvest | |
| Delicious Corsets | |
| and others |
Saturday night in conjunction with our Fetish Banquet, we will be putting on our musical and scene variety show, features some of the scene's finest performers, including the TES Equestrian Club, other TES Special Interest Groups (SIGs), and others. Volunteers are encouraged to contact us at tes2000@tes.org.
We will be holding a welcoming party Friday for those arriving at the event. You can take care of any last minute registration details, and get introduced to other TES members and friends. This is not a play party, just an informal get-together beforehand.
On Saturday, many of us will head to Central Park where we have reserved a ball field for a perfect saturday afternoon outing, a Doms Vs. Subs Co-Ed Softball Game. Switches can change sides only during the seventh inning. Spectators welcome.
TES is recommending three different mid-Manhattan hotels within a price range of $159 to $209 per night. There is no one official host hotel. For security reasons, we are only divulging the name and location of these high-quality mid-town hotels AFTER you register. You will then make arrangements directy with them. You are of course free to choose any other hotel which offers reasonable accomodations. We also recommend you check out www.hotres.com for the best prices available on Manhattan hotels.
The TES 2000 events are located throughout Manhattan no more than a mile or two apart. We will be providing private bus transportation between the venues according to a published schedule. You will not need an automobile, unless you plan to drive outside New York city, for some reason.
There will be four events that are NOT included in the General Admission Pass. This is the first of them. Friday evening at 7PM, we will congregate in Chinatown for a Kickoff Banquet and sumptuous Chinese feast. We have a private room large enough to accomodate 250 or more guests. There is a small dance floor. The menu includes Peking Duck and various delicacies. The per person price will be $37.50. If you are interested, email tes2000@tes.org and mention Chinese Banquet.
We are arranging for one or more private Manhattan sightseeing cruises on a boat exclusively ours. While not quite a play event (we don't want to attract the Coast guard's attention), it will be a fun ride among scene friends. Details will be posted soon.
Saturday night we are planning another private banquet event. This will include dinner and dancing. Wear your best fetish clothes and join hundreds of your friends. The menu and further details will be posted soon.
We have arranged for a group of Saturday matinee tickets for Jekyll and Hyde, a popular Broadway show, which we thought might also have some "scene" interest. They are $80 per person. If you are interested, email tes2000@tes.org and mention Broadway tickets.
