While we at TES have been fortunate in our ability to continue with our core of educational programming during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, other local brick-and-mortar institutions have been forced to shutter their doors. Like so many other businesses that have been forced to shut down due to the COVID-19 outbreak, they remain on the hook for rent, despite being unable to draw an income. Commercial rents in the area being what they are, this is no trivial expense.
If you have the means, please consider supporting one or more of these mainstays of the Greater NYC Kink Scene. We know from our Pay-It-Forward program that we’re blessed with many incredibly generous members. We are encouraged to know that Parthenon Studios, which has for the last several years played host to our own TES parties, has meet it’s fundraising goal!!! With your help, we can ensure we all make it through this together.
Purple Passion:
Like many brick and mortar retailers, Purple Passion was forced to close during the shutdown. They have reopened and could use your patronage. Conduit Enterprises:
The Conduit Team recently posted to Fetlife regarding the status of their space, Tech Noir Studios, in Newark, New Jersey. If you’ve ever been to their space for one of their parties, you know what an incredible job they do creating an environment that’s both sexy and inviting. While COVID-19 has already necessitated their moving to another space within the same building, they are hopeful to remain solvent enough to reopen in the future. As such, they are asking for donations.
