IN THE NIGHT

The annual tradition of celebrating Halloween
at TES was carried out with flying colors last Saturday, October
27th. Although attendence was down slightly from last year, the
fifty party guests who filled the Nutcracker Suite had no cause
to complain. Most of the credit for this year's success belongs
to hostess Elizabeth Sheehan. Given the task of hosting only four
days prior to the event, Elizabeth did a tremendous job of providing
excellent refreshments and getting the maximum use out of the allotted
budget.
"Last year when
we had 70 people here, there wasn't any room for anyone to play.",
Sheehan said. "At least this time we have scenes going on.". There
certainly were. One scene in particular, Lolita topping Neptune,
held most of the attendees completely enthralled for tyhe early
part of the evening. Thanks to all those who volunteered and congratulations
to Elizabeth for a job well done.
TES USHERS
IN HALLOWEEN WITH BLOODLETTING

On Tuesday,
Oct 30, TES hosted Chrysoula for a program on Cutting. Chrysoula
was introduced to cutting in the early 90's and has gotten two cuttings
herself - one by Becky of Baltimore and the other by the late Al
D of Seattle. Chrysoula says that this is not a Dom/sub scene or
a test of wills for her. She says it is more artistic and spiritual.
She can only do this with someone she likes.
Lady D was
the person receiving the cutting. For her, this was a scene that
was about spirituality and an endorphin high. She was cut previously
and loves the sensation. She is very into wolves and, at another
TES meeting, had a wolf's head cutting on her back. We could see
how it had keloided to become a permanent scar. Not every cutting
is permanent. It depends on how one heals and how deep it is cut.
It also depends on how the cutting is cared for - Lady D picked
at the scabs in order to get it to scar more. Chrysoula warned us
that even with a shallow cutting, some people keloid very easily
so make sure that any design that is cut is should be one that you
love.
Lady D is very
into wolves and the new design was wolf pawprints on a path. It
would go on the right side of her back. Chrysoula explained the
tools and techniques she was using and then cleaned the area and
used a #10 scalpel to cut the design. Everyone was silent and watched.
Lady D growled in a good way that showed us that she was enjoying
it.
Afterwards,
Chrysoula took questions and Lady D told us that it did not hurt
too badly, that it was an addictive sensation.
THE COUPLES GROUP TRIES NEW SENSATIONS

Wes and Michelle
hosted The Couples Group Exploratorium on Halloween, Wednesday October
31. Michele came with her paddles beat some ass. Dov showed up with
his ropes and I saw at least two newbies being tied up by him. To
see the innocence of a girl in a little red riding hood outfit tied
up and helpless brought out the Wolf in me. I controllled myself
as I had been asked to be there with my piercing kit.
I broke the
ice by piercing myself. Then, Wes stepped forward. He had never
tried needles before and I used four on him. He thought they were
"nice." Michelle translated that for me, "That means he likes them.".
