NOW S/M POLICY REFORM PROJECT
|
|
Members of the National Organization
for Women formed the S/M Policy Reform Project to change
NOW's current policy against S/M. The S/M PRP upholds the
rights of adults to engage in any safe, sane and consensual
sexual expression that they so choose, including S/M.
We need people (men and women) to
sign the S/M Policy Reform Statement that S/M is not violence
nor detrimental to a woman's mental or physical well-being.
We can help you to get involved in
your local NOW chapter.

INTERNATIONAL LAW
INFORMATION
PROJECT
|
|
This project is aimed at gathering
data/information related to the law and S/M.
Too often we hear anecdotal tales
of members of our community facing legal problems related
to their participation in S/M without getting actual details
of what happened. The Law Information Project (LIP) seeks
to change that by compiling real data about such cases.
Hopefully, such data will serve as a resource to attorney's
and members of our community who may face similar problems.
If you know of a case in which someone
engaging in consensual S/M was: charged with, convicted
of or acquitted of a crime such as assault; lost his/her
children during a custody dispute, divorce or state agency
action; etc., or cases of Professional Dominants arrested
for prostitution, etc., please send as many details as you
can. LIP volunteers can then do the follow up research on
the court file and be able to get a complete picture of
what happened in the case.
They would also like to hear about
laws in your state, county or city which relate to S/M activity
- E.g., wearing of uniforms, carrying handcuffs, knifes,
nudity in public and in bars, flagellation in bars, selling
play piercing needles, etc.
Send your information to:
