Proxy issues for 1/12/10 Membership Meeting

"The untimely passing of Tony (a.k.a. T-Bone) on December 1, 2009 has left a vacancy on the TES Board of Directors.

As per Article 6.6 in our Bylaws, we handle such Director vacancies with a temporary appointment until the next September membership meeting and election. The appointment is made by a majority vote of the current Directors in office.

If you would like to be considered for this appointment, please send an immediate e-mail to tes@tes.org, as the bylaws state that we must make our decision by the next regular board meeting, taking place on Monday, January 11, 2010. The only requirement is that you have been a TES member in good standing for one full year. The term of the Director appointed at the January board meeting will last until the September 2010 elections, a period of about 9 months."

As per Article 6.6 in the TES Bylaws, Director vacancies are filled with a temporary appointment until the next September membership meeting. The appointment to the Board of Directors is made by a majority vote of the current Directors in office.

After careful consideration, at the January 11, 2010 Board Meeting, the current Directors selected Catelynn to fill the board position left vacant by Tony's untimely passing. Catelynn will serve until the next general election scheduled to be held at the September 2010 membership meeting.
