Flogging\, or flagellation\, is the act of methodically beating or whipping (Latin: flagellum\, “whip”) the human body. In this class you’ll learn the rich history of flogging as a form of corporal punishment throughout the world\, and what materials\, vendors\, and resources are out there for this simple\, yet versatile method of inducing pain. \nYou’ll also learn various methods for striking various parts of your partner\, how to vary your pacing\, power\, and speed for maximum effect\, and\, if the time permits\, start the basics of florentine flogging — the style of flagellation used in BDSM involving the rhythmic use of a pair of matching floggers\, one in each hand. \nBring on the Flogging Fun\, Pain and Punishment! \nPlease bring your own floggers to participate. \n  \nBIO: \nRamon is an active member of the NYC BDSM scene\, and is involved with various organizations including The Eulenspiegel Society (TES)\, where he is a Board member as well as a class presenter. In his spare time\, Ramon designs and fabricates custom metal BDSM equipment and furniture.
