DESCRIPTION:This class focuses on aspects of mental health as it relates to the practice of BDSM. The goal is to be able to apply the information learned here as one negotiates scenes/relationships with other partners\, becomes more aware of how emotional wellness can affect play and how it can change the need and level of care. \nNJTherapist has a Master’s of Social Work degree and is a NJ State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Currently\, she’s a psychotherapist working in a small group private practice in NJ. Her areas of expertise include working with those diagnosed with PTSD\, OCD\, other anxiety disorders\, depression\, bipolar disorder\, gender/sexuality issues\, relationship issues\, and trauma. She’s certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) but use a variety of modalities to best assist clients. \n\nDoors open at 7\, class begins at 7:30.
