This beginner-friendly class\, open to all tops and bottoms\, will explore how to incorporate swordplay into your scenes. Boss Dian will lead discussions and demonstrations on how to use their favorite impact tool. DESCRIPTION:This class will explore the fascinating intersection of rope and neurodivergence. We’ll delve into how elements like deep pressure\, clear communication\, sensory stimulation\, and grounding\, which are central to both BDSM and neurodivergence\, beautifully overlap within the community. Drawing from both lived autistic/neurodivergent experience and extensive rope practice\, the class will discuss and demonstrate: \n\nHow topping and bottoming rope resonate in this context\nImportant accommodations and considerations\nNeurodivergent-inclusive negotiation\, tying\, and active bottoming\n\nThere will also be time for hands-on exploration for those who are interested\, so bring your rope. \nBios: \nKnotty Chris (he/him): Chris is a bottom/sub-leaning switch deeply involved in the NYC rope and kink scene since January 2024. He views rope & bondage as a connective somatic language and BDSM as a form of self-expression\, shared energy\, and joyful co-creation. DESCRIPTION:Some animals are made to be tamed…to be harnessed as beasts of burden or coddled as pets. Some can only be sated\, and woe be to those who stand between these feral beasts and their prey. Others are runts of the pack\, knowing only the pathetic existence as the Omega. In this class\, we will discuss how to tap into this primal state\, the forms feral expressions can take and the types of play that emerge. We’ll also discuss how to move safely into and out of feral states and ways to take your inner beast to the next level. \nBio: Tower (fka Joshua HighTower) has been involved in New York’s BDSM scene for most of his life\, having presented dozens of times for The Eulenspiegel Society\, Long Island Leather and Roses\, and Conversio Virium as well as at events including TES Fest\, IMsL\, Black Rose\, Fusion\, Fet Fest\, Winter Wickedness\, and Leather Leadership Conference.
