SUMMARY:Massage for Pain (or Pleasure) with Tower
DESCRIPTION:Massage is the quintessential topping.  Traditional massage techniques teach how to manipulate\, maneuver\, stroke\, and strike a body to get the desired results.  While for the most part this result is pleasurable\, the same techniques can be used to cause intense\, controlled pain.  Fundamentals of massage will be covered\, so even those who only intend to use these skills for less than nefarious purposes will benefit.  The class is a combination of presentation and hands-on practice as time and space allows. \nBios:  \nTower (fka Joshua HighTower) has been involved in New York’s BDSM scene for most of his life\, having presented dozens of times for The Eulenspiegel Society\, Long Island Leather and Roses\, and Conversio Virium as well as at events including TES Fest\, IMsL\, Black Rose\, Fusion\, Fet Fest\, Winter Wickedness\, and Leather Leadership Conference. In addition to being cofounder of TES-TNG\, he was involved in the initial conceptualization and proliferation of the TNG movement. Nothing makes him happier than seeing what makes people tick and seeing folks use what he taught them. Well\, okay\, maybe there are a couple of things… \nDemo bottom: \nLex Lively realized that she might be into impact play when she would look for any excuse to be paddled while in a sorority during her time in college. While fairly new to the public scene\, she has spent the last few years learning and exploring\, discovering new things that excite her almost constantly. She lives up to her name\, meeting each moment with energy and enthusiasm\, always looking forward to the next adventure. \nLocation and Cost\nLocation: \nThe Center (The Lesbian\, Gay\, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center)  \n208 West 13th Street\,  \nNew York\, NY 10011 \nCost: \n\nMembers: $10\nNon-Members: $25\n\nRegistration in advance is strongly encouraged due to limited internet access at the venue. \nNote: Each attendee will need to have a separate account to register. \nOnline Registration:\nIf You Already Have an Account\n\nRegister: Click here to go to the registration page.\nLog in: Use your existing account information to log in and register for the class. SUMMARY:Tiptoeing Around Foot Service
DESCRIPTION:A workshop on service\, sensuality\, and getting out of your own way. \nIs your foot service scene all soles and no soul? This playful\, practical\, permission-filled workshop explores and corrects common missteps in service-based touch through three core layers: embodied communication\, polarity\, and hands-on foot-focused connection. You’ll learn how intention\, energy\, and action sometimes fall out of sync…and how to bring them back into balance with care and clarity. Whether you’re taking your first steps in kink\, seasoned in service\, or simply curious to deepen your dynamic\, you’ll leave with insight\, tools\, and a more grounded way to connect (both with others and with yourself). \nBios:  \nKyla the @CreatrixOfChaos delights in turning life’s contradictions into creative catalysts. She teaches the art and science of connection\, communication\, and coming closer together through experiential workshops\, playful frameworks\, and embodied education. Through her brand @CultivatedChaos\, she offers conscious touch workshops that blend structure and sensation\, language and lived experience\, guiding curious minds and eager bodies into polarity\, presence\, and possibility through structured play. A lifelong explorer and lover of her own edges\, Kyla is known for her nonlinear brilliance\, grounded heart\, and generous field of permission. SUMMARY:IN-PERSON: Bondage Basic Training (BBT)
DESCRIPTION:Basic training is where every enlistee learns very little of very many topics\, very quickly\, to straighten out every rookie just enough to survive unit life in the armed services. This class is a similar approach to rope bondage. Participants can expect to run through the basic building blocks of tying somebody up\, without the frills. We will cover setting the scene\, handling and extending rope\, single-column ties\, double-column ties\, chest harnesses\, crotch ropes\, how to utilize gags and blindfolds\, and a few of the basic positions. It’s rope bondage basics with a practical focus\, leaving the participant to explore further after this class as they advance in their chosen bondage MOS.  \nRequirements: Attendees to bring their own rope\, shears\, and a mat/blanket. The rope can be any material\, ideally 2-4 lengths of 30-foot pieces and 4-6 lengths of 15-foot pieces. The space has no mats\, and participants should bring a blanket or mat to tie on. \nBringing a tying partner is strongly recommended; while observers are welcome\, not all of the ties will be possible to practice on one’s own. \nThis class will assume a functional understanding of consent\, negotiation\, and bondage safety\, but no rope-specific prerequisites. \nBios: \nPresenter: CadburyBunny has been doing bondage for as long as he cares to remember\, batting for both teams as both a rigger and captor\, as well as somewhat of a serial bondage captive and damsel in distress at this point. Growing up on a small island about eight hours from Japan\, he does appreciate pretty kinbaku and suspension. Still\, he is probably more partial to being tied and gagged in any manner that is inescapable and authentic\, using anything from rope and steel to tape and torn pieces of clothing. One friend and victim has broadly described his style as being whatever is needed to get the job done\, and the subsequent desecrating and violating underway. \nDemo Subject: LadyPraise serves an important role as the foil and “yes-and” improv partner for CadburyBunny’s whacky shenanigans. She ties with him regularly enough\, but there’s no promise as to who ends up on the receiving end any given day\, as tends to happen when two switches race for the bottom. CadburyBunny is thankful\, all the same\, for all the chaos switch energy she brings – and for today\, she will be his class demo subject. \n\nLocation & Cost:\nLocation: \nThe Center (The Lesbian\, Gay\, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center)  \n208 West 13th Street\,  \nNew York\, NY 10011 \nCost: \n\nMembers: $10\nNon-Members: $25\n\nRegistration in advance is strongly encouraged due to limited internet access at the venue. \nNote: Each attendee will need to have a separate account to register. \nRegistration Instructions\nIf You Already Have an Account\n\nRegister: Click here to go to the class registration page.\nLog in: Use your existing account information to log in and register for the class. SUMMARY:TES IN PERSON – Erotic Hypnosis 101
DESCRIPTION:Erotic hypnosis is often described as “the chocolate sauce of kink” — delicious on its own\, and great in combination with just about anything else. You can use it to tighten up your bondage\, sharpen your knife play\, add a little punch to your impact scenes\, or just all on its own for good old-fashioned pleasure and power play. Join us for Erotic Hypnosis 101\, an introduction to what hypnosis is (and isn’t)\, how it does (and doesn’t) work\, and how to continue exploring on your own. \nBio:\nSex-Obsessed Lesbian is a kinkster\, kink educator\, and content creator based in the Eastern US; she has been doing hypnosis since just after college\, nerding out about sex since high school\, and making bad puns since approximately forever. Hypnosis turned her on before she even knew what it meant to get turned on\, and the wonderful world of Tumblr taught her that it was an actual thing. Since then\, she’s been romping around the countryside thinking and talking about consent\, creativity\, and ways to do silly and sexy things with people’s brains. \nFind her online: https://linktr.ee/sexobsessedlesbian \n\nLocation:\nThe Center (The Lesbian\, Gay\, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center)\n208 West 13th Street\,\nNew York\, NY 10011 \nCost:\nMembers: $10\nNon-Members: $25\nRegistration in advance is strongly encouraged due to limited internet access at the venue.\nNote: Each attendee will need to have a separate account to register. \nRegistration Instructions \nIf You Already Have an Account \n\nRegister: Click here to go to the class registration page.\nLog in: Use your existing account information to log in and register for the class. SUMMARY:IN-PERSON: TES Monthly Munch
DESCRIPTION:We’d love to have you at the TES Monthly Munch! \nWhether you’re new to the scene\, an old friend\, or just curious\, our monthly munch is a great opportunity to meet fellow kinksters in a low-key\, low-pressure setting. There’s no need to RSVP\, and everyone is welcome—you don’t even have to be a TES member to join us! \nWe gather on the first Monday of every month (if it’s a holiday\, we’ll meet on the following Monday) at an alternative lifestyle-friendly diner in NYC. Our hosts will be there to give you a warm welcome and answer any questions. Attending is free; you just pay for your food\, and please remember to tip your server well! We also ask that you wear “vanilla” (non-BDSM) clothes. \nThis is a vanilla event. Respect others’ privacy and consent by not displaying any kink activities in this public space. \n\nA Note on Safety\nThis event is held at a public diner\, and while we highly encourage all attendees to be vaccinated against COVID-19\, we cannot control what the restaurant requires of other patrons. Please assess your own risk and act accordingly. We will have a discreet contact tracing option available\, which we encourage you to use. \nFor more information\, including a code of conduct for newcomers\, please visit our FAQ page. \nWe can’t wait to see you there!

SUMMARY:TES In-Person - Sensual Capture
DESCRIPTION:Sensual Capture is a trauma-informed workshop that will give players the framework and tools to safely engage in abduction in play scenes. Players are asked to reflect on what draws them to abduction play\, and how to navigate the many risks and sites of both trauma and desire before engaging in play. Players will leave with the key concepts needed to compose a scene. A condensed demonstration of a basic\, beginner-level abduction scene will be performed\, demonstrating safe\, low-impact methods of physiological and physical control. \nBio: \nLady Dahlia Trieu is a transfemme prodomme and kink educator of Vietnamese heritage.
