SUMMARY:TES IN PERSON – Erotic Hypnosis 101
DESCRIPTION:Erotic hypnosis is often described as “the chocolate sauce of kink” — delicious on its own\, and great in combination with just about anything else. You can use it to tighten up your bondage\, sharpen your knife play\, add a little punch to your impact scenes\, or just all on its own for good old-fashioned pleasure and power play. Join us for Erotic Hypnosis 101\, an introduction to what hypnosis is (and isn’t)\, how it does (and doesn’t) work\, and how to continue exploring on your own. \nBio:\nSex-Obsessed Lesbian is a kinkster\, kink educator\, and content creator based in the Eastern US; she has been doing hypnosis since just after college\, nerding out about sex since high school\, and making bad puns since approximately forever. Hypnosis turned her on before she even knew what it meant to get turned on\, and the wonderful world of Tumblr taught her that it was an actual thing. Since then\, she’s been romping around the countryside thinking and talking about consent\, creativity\, and ways to do silly and sexy things with people’s brains. \nFind her online: https://linktr.ee/sexobsessedlesbian \n\nLocation:\nThe Center (The Lesbian\, Gay\, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center)\n208 West 13th Street\,\nNew York\, NY 10011 \nCost:\nMembers: $10\nNon-Members: $25\nRegistration in advance is strongly encouraged due to limited internet access at the venue.\nNote: Each attendee will need to have a separate account to register. \nRegistration Instructions \nIf You Already Have an Account \n\nRegister: Click here to go to the class registration page.\nLog in: Use your existing account information to log in and register for the class. SUMMARY:IN-PERSON - DM Training for TES Fest 2026
DESCRIPTION:Youngscientist and Werin\, our TESfest 2025 Chairs of Safety\, will be training all volunteers who signed up to be Dungeon Monitors for TES Fest 2026. If you’re interested in learning for future TES events but didn’t sign up\, please register anyway—education is knowledge capital for our community.   \nAs a Dungeon Monitor\, you’ll learn how to: \n\nDevelop skills to facilitate a safe dungeon environment\nWork effectively with a team\nCommunicate respectfully and clearly\nIdentify possible safety risks\nUnderstand the dos and don’ts of the role\nDevise solutions and alternative approaches\nTo review best practices on skill-based play\, and boundaries of consent in a dungeon environment\n\nBios: \nYoungscientist has been active in many facets of the scene for over 15 years. He’s volunteered and worked on staff for at least a dozen organizations throughout that time\, including being one of the few Pro-DM’s in the NYC area. Knowledge has been one of his main driving forces\, which led him to start teaching early on. He’s probably most well known for teaching Wrestling/Grappling classes and hosting Jello and Lube Wrestling events. \nWerin is a longtime member of the NYC/NJ kink community with over 15 years in the scene and as a TES member. She has volunteered across TES and TES Fest in multiple roles\, including serving as DM Captain at TES Fest 2025\, and regularly DMs at TES events and queer-centered parties like The Rabbit Hole and Transgression. \nAs Vice Chair of Safety for TES Fest 2026\, Werin brings a warm\, attentive\, and quietly watchful presence. She is committed to creating spaces where people feel safe\, seen\, and genuinely cared for while exploring. \nA submissive-leaning switch\, she values trust\, connection\, and the emotional depth of power exchange. She is the partner of Lady Dee and a longtime friend within the community. \nWerin is also a transgender woman\, nearly four years into her transition and on HRT for over two years. She serves as a trans mentor and is deeply committed to supporting and uplifting trans youths\, especially those who may be questioning their place or struggling to feel seen in today’s world. \nIf you see her around\, don’t be shy. She’s approachable\, a little playful\, and always happy to help. And if she’s off duty and taking a break\, she might be open to some soft\, cuddly connection… just say hi first. \nShe tends to notice the quiet things others miss\, and she cares more than she lets on. \n\nCost: Members/Non-Members Free\nRegistration in advance is mandatory.\nRegistration Instructions\nIf You Already Have an Account\n\nRegister: Click here to go to the class registration page.\nLog in: Use your existing account information to log in and register for the class. SUMMARY:IN-PERSON - Gift of the Gab: Verbalization for Better Bottoming
DESCRIPTION:Beyond “talking dirty”\, verbalization is the skill of using your words to process pain and sensation\, using your words to increase the connection to your top\, using your words for proactive consent\, and using your words to help you flow in and out of headspace. This class will include drills to help decrease creative inhibition\, accurately describe sensation on the fly\, and start verbalizing in your own kink practice. He’s been in the public BDSM scene since 2011. He’s been a (head) DM\, a volunteer\, and an organizer at parties in NYC and beyond. He’s brought kink education to folks all over the East Coast.
