DESCRIPTION:Do you want to start volunteering as a DM in the scene? Are you a staff member of an organization and need to brush up on safety knowledge in play spaces? Maybe you just really like wearing neon vests at parties? \nThis class will primarily teach community members how to bridge their own scene knowledge\, life skills\, and critical thinking to facilitate safe play spaces and deal with various situations that may arise as a representative of a BDSM organization. Some subjects that will be covered include but aren’t limited to; maintaining party rules and etiquette\, advanced play and scene limitations\, equipment and dungeon safety\, methods of communication\, risk management\, professionalism\, consent and negotiation breakdowns\, scene intervention\, conflict resolution and deescalation\, and critical first aid. \nAll experience levels are welcome to attend\, but this class will include many subjects that are above novice level. \nBio: Youngscientist has been active in many facets of the scene for over 15 years. He’s volunteered and worked staff for at least a dozen organizations throughout that time\, including being one of the few Pro-DM’s in the NYC area. Knowledge has been one of his main driving forces\, which led him to start teaching early on. It might take the form of a loaded suggestion to help a new subject gain confidence or an inescapable double bind to make an experienced subject feel extra headfucked. And as a bonus\, we’ll discuss some tried and true “lazy hypnotist” techniques—more shenanigans for less effort. The methods taught in this class elicit the full gamut of reactions from “Wow\, I can’t believe that worked!” to “You fucker\, I can’t believe that worked!” \n(This class is primarily ‘tist-directed\, but subjects\, subs\, bottoms\, etc. are all very welcome and there will be plenty of useful information for all!) \nBio:\nSexObsessedLesbian is a kinkster\, kink educator\, and content creator based in the Eastern US; she has been doing hypnosis since just after college\, nerding out about sex since high school\, and making bad puns since approximately forever. DESCRIPTION:In this lab-style workshop we will break down what a futomomo is\, what makes it work\, and of course what makes it fail. After working through the theory of what a futo tie is and some common elements of it\, we will all come up with a brand new version of a futo and analyze it to see whether it would work or not. Suspension experience is not required for this workshop\, but for those interested in it\, futos will be evaluated for suitability in suspension. This class is beginner-friendly and requires only that you know how to tie a single column and a half hitch. One to two hanks of rope will be necessary. While this workshop is not presented as a self-tie activity\, the futo lends itself well to being tied on oneself. \nPresenter Bio: Corwin is a top with a wide range of interests. He enjoys Japanese-inspired rope bondage\, all manner of impact and knife play\, as well as fear/sensation/humiliation/objectification play\, and inflicting terrible dad jokes on his partners. Having discovered his kinky side from a newspaper cartoon at a very young age\, he continues to pursue new and interesting kinks. Attending this event is free beyond paying for the food you order (and please tip your server well!) \nThe TES Munch is our monthly gathering on the first Monday of each month. It’s a great opportunity to meet and hangout with your fellow kinksters in a low-key\, low-pressure environment. It is open to all members of the community in good standing\, and those who are new to the scene are especially encouraged to attend. There is no requirement to RSVP ahead of time\, and you do not need to be a TES member to attend. \nPlease note that we highly encourage all attendees to be vaccinated and up-to-date against COVID-19.
