We provide helpful information for those of us who suffer from depression and other forms of mental illness\, providing a safe place to talk about our challenges. But one area of challenge in our community is around the topic of neurodiversity. Neurodiversity is the idea that neurological differences are recognized\, understood and accepted. These include many forms of invisible disabilities\, including Dyspraxia\, Dyslexia\, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder\, Dyscalculia\, Autistic Spectrum\, Tourette Syndrome\, as well as others. Individuals with neurological differences in the kink community speak of feeling marginalized and excluded\, while kink organizers struggle with issues of wanting to provide an atmosphere that feels safe and welcoming to all. Come join The Eulenspiegel Society on 3/24 for our second discussion on this important topic. \nThe discussion will be facilitated by Vir Cotto\, a kinkster and occasional presenter. Vir identifies as neuro-divergent\, having learning disabilities and ADHD. DESCRIPTION:All too often\, we are told that BDSM must utilize tools and toys to be effective. In this presentation Sir Guy and his girl Harley show how simply using one’s hands can provide an intimate\, yet power scene without the use of any outside implements. \nSirGuy lives in a 24/7 Master/slave relationship. He’s been active in the scene for over a decade and is an Emeritus Board Member of The Eulenspiegel Society (TES)\, Director of MAsT Metro New York\, Founder of The Dark Lair: BDSM Support and Education for People of Color\, and an Associate Member of ONYX NY/Northeast. He won the International Power Exchange 2013 title. SirGuy has presented at MsC several times\, Brimstone\, TES Fest\, The Floating World\, LLC\, Leather History Preservation Weekend\, several MAsT groups\, South Jersey Power Exchange\, LILNR/LICK and over 30 groups and events. \nSirGuy lives in a 24/7 Master/slave relationship. He is the author of a uniform themed erotic collection featuring People of Color and contributing author to the anthology Our Lives\, Our History: Consensual Master/slave Relationships from Ancient Times to the 21st Century. Interviews with Sir Guy also appear in Dr. Gloria Brame’s\, A Different Loving Too. \nA uniform enthusiast\, former NYC police officer and NY State certified Emergency Medical Technician\, Sir Guy participated in rescue efforts at Ground Zero and Hurricane Katrina. \nHarley is a Black owned and operated slave in Brooklyn\, NY belonging to Sir Guy for 6 years. She has been involved in the BDSM community for over 15 years. During her time in the community\, Harley has presented or co-presented at TES\, various MAsT groups\, Lupercalia\, the Master/slave Conference\, and more. Harley served on the staff of Master Taino’s Training Academy for 2 years before winning the Northeast Master/slave 2008 title with her Owner at the time\, which she held until February 2009. DESCRIPTION:Fucking machines in general are one of the coolest and most exciting pieces of equipment one can use when exploring the sexual side of our world. It can also be one of the least accessible and riskiest activities\, which is why it’s often harder to establish a foundation of skills or opportunity to participate under ideal conditions. The primary purpose of this class to make this activity less alien and offer that foundation of skills and knowledge that can develop into better practices for everyone whether new or experienced. \nThere are many thoughts and questions that one often thinks about when diving into this activity. How do I use these machines safely? How do I know if my partner or I are ready for this play? How can I negotiate to do this play? How do I integrate it into my play or scene? As a DM\, event organizer\, or venue operator; what should I know to vet people and equipment? What are some skills I should learn? Can I use electric tools/devices I already have? What types of dildo’s and attachments can I use? Where do I get this stuff? How much is this going to cost me? How do I make or assemble my own machines or attachments? Am I crazy for even thinking about playing with what is essentially just a power tool with a sex toy attached to it? All these questions and more will be answered. \nI will offer my best practices to help you in your journey based on my 10+ years of experience researching\, building\, and using these devices. \nThere will be an opportunity to ask specific questions and try out general use of these devices.
