I bet you were frustrated if that person was able to escape as well… HAVE NO FEAR! I am here to teach you how to create ties that will have the escape artist in your life cussing up a storm. Hope to see you there! ( This class is intended for partners\, but we may have one for you. People should bring 3 – 30 foot hanks of rope or what ever size you like to tie with\, we will have some for you if you don’t have any\, and a good imagination. \nPresenter Bio:  \nGreetings! Jakal here! I love to teach and extend my knowledge onto others as well as learn new things myself. I pride myself on being approachable almost all of the time so please feel free to come chat. I mainly teach about fire & wax\, rope\, and rough body play\, but have started creating fun games for the kink community as well! \nAs an instructor\, I have been teaching kink related materials for about 4 years\, and I have just started outwardly seeking more events to teach at. However\, I have been teaching people the knowledge in my head for about 15 years. I love to teach people new concepts and ideas regardless of the platform. As a player\, I have been doing rope for about 10 years\, fire for about 8 years\, and rough body play for about 8 years. I also have a bit of marital arts experience as well. I took Taekwondo for about 6 years and I am trained in Army combatives level 1 and 2. \nI teach completely unconventionally most of the time. I am not the person that enjoys step one\, step two\, step three\, etc. I love to think outside the box on new ways things can be done\, especially if it doesn’t require as much safety as suspension ties and intricate fire play do. I do like to do an extensive amount of research on things that I like to do though\, and if I don’t have an answer for students in the class I generally have a good idea of where to find it. For those unfamiliar with the format\, a single student will get up and demonstrate something. The teacher provides feedback and ideas for improvement that not only that student\, but the entire class can benefit from. This continues with successive students until the class ends. I emphasize that the class is for all levels since beginners can often learn a great deal from challenges that more advanced students grapple with and advanced students may be surprised by how much they can learn from watching those less experienced. The subject matter of the class will be “technique.” This is a broad subject that will include style\, tension\, and numerous other technical aspects\, but will not include “patterns.” Accordingly\, critique will not be given on whether a pattern was tied “correctly\,” but advice will be given based on the other technical elements of the tie and the method of applying the rope\, while taking into account the student’s intent. If you answered yes to any of these questions\, please join us for our live training workshops on at the Players Theatre\, 115 MacDougal St\, on \nMonday June 11th\, 7 – 10PM Studio 3B\,\nand\nMonday June 18th\, 7 – 10PM Studio 3C \nThese workshops are intended to supplement our online training found here\, and are free to anyone who has successfully completed the unit “DM 101”. All others are welcome to join us at our standard class rates. Please note that\, due to time constraints\, we will not be able to more than a quick review of the materials covered online. \nIn combination with our online training\, these workshops are designed as a comprehensive introduction to DMing\, and will cover everything you need to know to get started DMing at TES events and TES Fest. Experienced DMs are invited to attend as a refresher and to share their wisdom with others. \nOur DM Training Workshop will consist of two parts: \nPlay Safety & Scene Vetting Forum-\nIn this knowledge share session\, we will discuss safety considerations for various types of play you are likely to encounter as a DM. Attendees are invited to bring their personal experience and expertise as we analyze what to look for in different types of scenes\, what to prioritize\, and how best to ensure scenes are in harmony with event rules. \nScenario Roleplay and Discussion Lab-\nIn this section\, we will roleplay various situations you may encounter as a DM\, many derived for real-life incidents. DESCRIPTION:I have been to many wax play classes and noticed they are solely focused on so called “kink safe” wax candles. Usually these are candles that are handmade and burn at a lower temperature. They are also very expensive. But despite this I have seen these kink safe candles being misused and causing serious burns. I wanted to offer a class based on my research on how to do wax play scenes with regular candles that are far cheaper\, and emphasize using the candles safely. Whether one uses a lit candle for wax play or melts a larger amount of wax using slow cooker there is a way to do it safely and get the most from your wax play scene. I will also talk a bit about the second part of wax play which is removing the wax. So a bit of knife play will be discussed as well as other methods. I also want to explore the different styles of wax play scenes including sensation based scenes\, artistic scenes and ritualistic scenes.  I will also show how to incorporate wax play into other kinds of scenes as well\, such as impact\, bondage and suspension. My class will have a demo bottom to showcase one of the styles of wax play.
