SUMMARY:TES Fetish Workers Group: 2nd Annual Fetish Workers Panel
DESCRIPTION:TES Members $5\nStudents & Military with ID $10\nReciprocal Groups $10\nNon-Members $20\nCash Only\nDoors open at 7:00 pm – Meeting begins at 7:30 pm\n\n  \nOne of the most misunderstood and under explored subgroups of the kink community is fetish workers. Slut shamed\, mistaken for other kinds of sex workers\, told they aren’t ‘real’ Doms or subs\, and in various ways excluded from the general kink population\, professional fetish workers have in the past not necessarily participated as openly in our society. In an effort to help bridge the chasm between fetish workers and non-professional kinksters\, TES has gathered a panel of fetish workers to come speak about their experiences and answer questions. \nCome learn about the world of professional fetish workers\, including: \n\n\nWhat to expect (and not expect!) when you hire a professional fetish worker\nWhat challenges professional fetish workers face\nSome stereotypes that our panelists have encountered over the years\, which of them are false\, and which of them are true\nHow our panelists started as fetish workers\nWhat to look for (and what to to avoid) when looking for a professional fetish worker

SUMMARY:Sensual Domination\, with Spike
DESCRIPTION:TES Members $5\nStudents & Military with ID $10\nReciprocal Groups $10\nNon-Members $20\nCash Only\nDoors open at 7:00 pm – Meeting begins at 7:30 pm\n  \nThe definition of “sensual” is 1. affecting any of the senses; and 2. relating to gratification of the physical and especially the sexual appetites. Sensual domination encompasses both aspects of the definition\, controlling sensations in a sexually charged way. Melding elements of hypnosis\, bondage\, mind-fuck\, touch\, sensation play\, knife play\, percussive play and the sense to tune in to what works for the submissive\, learn how to create erotic and fulfilling scenes for yourself and your partner(s). \nThis class geared for the beginner to intermediate BDSM practitioner\, but everyone could find something of use here. \nBio: \n\nRichard\, aka Spike\, is a sensual sadistic Dom who likes to play with rope\, canes and knives\, but basically\, anything that falls into his hands is potentially pervertable. He is a reaction junkie and enjoys administering pain as part of his sensation play. Richard is an emeritus board member of Long Island Leather ‘n Roses (LILNR)\, a facilitator of Long Island Rope Revival (LIRR) and a volunteer for The Eulenspiegel Society (TES). He has previously presented on various aspects of sensation play\, rope bondage and sensual spanking to TES\, Dom sub Friends (DsF)\, LILNR\, LIRR and at TES Fest 2014\, 2015 and 2016.

SUMMARY:Restorative & Transformative Justice Roundtable\, with ChrisMarks of CRF
DESCRIPTION:TES Members $5\nStudents & Military with ID $10\nReciprocal Groups $10\nNon-Members $20\nCash Only\nDoors open at 7:00 pm – Meeting begins at 7:30 pm\n  \nThe BDSM community continues to struggle with consent-related issues\, and tried various methods to reduce consent-related conflicts. These methods include banning\, outing (abuse\, behavior\, persona\, etc.)\, flaming on social media\, and various functional equivalents. None of these are ultimately satisfactory for everyone or every case. \nSo what could work\, might work? How do we try to understand and communicate our social contract within the kinky community? Possible options are Restorative Justice and Transformative Justice models. \nThis meeting will be a Roundtable to explore the issues\, questions\, and ideas for developing such models\, led by ChrisMarks\, founder of the Conflict Resolution Facilitator (CRF) process and a leader of Incident Response Teams (IRT) at national events. After a short introduction to the concepts and defining some terms\, it will be your contributions as attendees that focus the discussion and move it forward. Come\, share\, and explore with us options for Restorative and Transformative Justice in Kink!
