TES is an organization where you, our membership, get a voice in selecting our leadership. Meet the Candidates Night is October 14th (Online). You can ask questions of each candidate to better understand their vision for the future of TES and the things they are passionate about. The TES Annual Membership Meeting and Election is on October 28th (Online). We have three Board of Directors candidates. As per TES bylaws, a candidate for the Board of Directors would need to receive at least 50% of the vote to be elected. We have two candidates for Arbiter. As per the TES bylaws, the candidate with the highest vote total must receive votes from at least 20% of the members voting to be seated. We also have several bylaw amendments up for a vote. Even if you don’t vote, consider submitting a Restricted Proxy, which is essentially permission to vote on bylaws and conduct business. For more details and to submit your proxy, see TES Proxy Instructions and Proxy Form. Candidate Statements: Arbiter Candidate: Brother Bight My name is Brother Bight, I am a candidate for Arbiter. I am relatively new to our community, but to paraphrase Rita Hayworth in Gilda “ I was born last night, that way I have no past and only future.” I want my future to be of service to our community, I want my future to be used to promote fairness that is so rare nowadays. I cave served in many advocacy roles. I have been a Guardian ad Litem I New York housing court, I have been a court appointed special advocate within NewYork family court, and I am a current surrogate member in the Surrogate Decision Committee Meeting with New York Justice Center. I say these role not to imply any altruism on my part but emphasize a lesson I have learned. To achieve true reconciliation, we must drill into the matter. Often times victims are made to be silent and are hidden. My vision is to work with integrity, to be accountable to you all, and to answer you all, with humility. Candidate: Matt/Reina’s slave Hello, I’m Matt/Reina’s slave and I am once again running for re-election as Arbiter. Since first volunteering in 2009, I have had the pleasure of serving TES and our community earning a Lifetime Achievement Award and the title of Board Emeritus. I have previously served on the TES Board of Directors (2011-2015), as Arbiter since 2022, and chaired TES Fest from 2012-2015 (spearheading TES’ equipment acquisitions in 2014). Additionally, I have chaired TES’ IT, Socials, and Elections committees, staffed TES Fest’s IT, Promotions, and Special Events committees (2010-2011), and was a co-moderator of NYC TNG (2010-2014). I believe a good arbiter should be impartial and fair, make use of past precedent, and uphold virtuous community standards when making decisions. We must always embrace the diversity of our community, respect our past, and work toward an active, safe, and vibrant future. I respectfully ask for your vote and support. Thank you! Board of Directors Candidate: Antoinette, a.k.a. “Tall Goddess NY” I am excited and honored to enter my name into consideration for a voting seat on the TES Board of Directors. Within the community, many know me as “Tall Goddess,” and my journey in the lifestyle began in adolescence, when the music and culture I was drawn to first introduced me to this world. I became an active member of the New York kink community in 2015, attending classes, socials, and events that deepened my self-discovery and helped me build lasting connections. In 2025, I had the privilege of hosting a Jinky Kews event at TES, which reinforced my admiration for the organization’s role in education, inclusivity, and creating safe spaces for community members to come together. TES has been an important part of my own growth, and I want to contribute to ensuring it remains just as impactful for others. If elected, I will bring enthusiasm, organizational experience, and a collaborative spirit to the Board. I look forward to learning from current Board members, supporting TES’s mission, and contributing to the future growth of the organization and community as a Whole. Warmly, Antoinette, a.k.a. “Tall Goddess NY” Candidate: Goddess Coko My journey with The Eulenspiegel Society (TES) is defined by a deep and lasting commitment. My past experience as TES Secretary, along with my current time as an interim and now elected Director, has given me a strong base for leadership. In my recent roles as Secretary, Promotions Chair, Community Relations Vice Chair, and TES Fest 2025 Event Vice Chair, I’ve worked to improve our operations and community engagement. My vision is to build on these successes by strengthening TES’s outreach, enhancing transparency, and making sure our events create a more inclusive community for everyone. I’ve learned what it takes to be a good board member—integrity, accountability, and a good communicator and collaborator—from my many years of leading groups in different communities, in and outside of kink. I promise to use this knowledge to help TES keep growing and serving our community with dedication and integrity. Candidate: Tom I am Tom, an emeritus board member. I am currently treasurer. I served as Chair of TES Fest 2025 and was vice chair in 2012-15 and 2024. I want to continue on the Board as I do have unfinished business left regarding taxes and wish to remain in leadership going forward. I have the background and experience to continue serving the organization that has been an integral part of my life. I look forward to continuing to work for you all.
