As our Creed calls us to do, we strive to make our events as inclusive as possible. We wish to balance the desire for folks to protect the immunocompromised, acknowledge declining vaccine availability in underserved communities, and establish face-to-face connections that are so vital for our community. Therefore, the TES Board of Directors unanimously approved the following policy for our in-person classes and TES Fest.
Official In-Person Class COVID Policy
Effective Date: 1/27/2025
At TES Association Inc. and TES Fest 2025, the health and safety of our community members, staff, and participants are of utmost importance.
Vaccination Requirement:
All attendees, staff, and participants must provide proof of receiving any COVID 19 vaccine.
Exemption Process:
We understand that there may be valid medical or religious reasons preventing some individuals from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. Those seeking an exemption must contact Chairs@tesfest.org to initiate the exemption review process. All exemption requests must be submitted no later than July 1st, 2025. Approved exemptions will be granted on a case-by-case basis, and those with approved exemptions may be subject to additional safety measures and protocols.
Policy Acknowledgment:
By attending TES Fest 2025 or TES in Person Classes, all participants acknowledge and agree to adhere to this COVID-19 policy. Failure to comply with the policy may result in denied entry or removal from the event.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we prioritize the health and well-being of our community. This policy will be regularly reviewed and updated based on the latest public health guidance.
Thank you,
TES Fest 2025
