TES Online – Understanding Power Exchange: D/s For Everyone

Power exchange is often touted as the pinnacle of BDSM experiences: elusive, alluring, and hard to get right. It can seem impossible to get started with D/s. This class is intended for both those who are brand-new to D/s and those who are already on their power exchange journey.

Class Objectives:

• Be able to define what power exchange, D/s, and M/s dynamics are
• Gain familiarity with your preferred power exchange style and level
• Learn what to look for in potential partners and what may be red flag behavior
• Understand various popular consent models and how they apply to D/s
• Learn how to negotiate a power exchange relationship
• Understand the truth about collars and alternative marks of ownership
• Discover how to identify feelings of submission and Dominance in your body
• Combat stereotypes about what really makes a “good” D/s partner
• Figure out if punishment/reward dynamics will work for you, and what to do if they don’t
• Understand the role that rules and protocol can play in a dynamic
• Find out how to construct a beginner-friendly relationship contract you can build on
