Novice and Newcomers Group and Bondage Group: Chair bondage, with Soptik Z May 9, 2018 @ 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM The Alchemical, Studio C 104 west 14th street, New York, NY, United States If you expect to learn how to tie chairs at this workshop, you would be disappointed. You will learn how to tie your partner to a chair and how to be creative with it. Chairs are great for their stability, shape, and their many different options for tie-offs and positions. Moreover, everyone has a chair at home. We will explain some basic techniques for tying your partner to a chair and help you discover creative positions for play, sex, etc. In the end, we also play with few predicaments. About Soptik Z: I am a bondage teacher and event organizer. I created my first educational website with information on rope bondage in 2000. After ten years of self-education, I met Kinoko Hajime who became my first teacher of Japanese bondage. Afterwards, my tying was shaped by Osada Steve and Kanna; however, Kinoko Ryu is still my first choice for most of my rope partners. A year later, I started teaching regular bondage workshops and have kept this hobby till today. In the meantime, I met two other teachers who influenced me greatly. The first was Yoroi Nicolas who taught me movement, intimacy, and simplicity in ropes. The second and the most influential was Riccardo Wildties. He introduced me to Naka Ryu. The more I study with Riccardo and Naka Akira, the more I fall in love with this style. TES Members $5 Students & Military with ID $10 Reciprocal Groups $10 Non-Members $20 Cash Only

Wax Play: Artistic, Sadistic and Cheaptastic with SimoneB May 29, 2018 @ 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM The Alchemical, Studio B 104 west 14th street, New York, United States I have been to many wax play classes and noticed they are solely focused on so called “kink safe” wax candles. Usually these are candles that are handmade and burn at a lower temperature. They are also very expensive. But despite this I have seen these kink safe candles being misused and causing serious burns. I wanted to offer a class based on my research on how to do wax play scenes with regular candles that are far cheaper, and emphasize using the candles safely. Whether one uses a lit candle for wax play or melts a larger amount of wax using slow cooker there is a way to do it safely and get the most from your wax play scene. I will also talk a bit about the second part of wax play which is removing the wax. So a bit of knife play will be discussed as well as other methods. I also want to explore the different styles of wax play scenes including sensation based scenes, artistic scenes and ritualistic scenes. I will also show how to incorporate wax play into other kinds of scenes as well, such as impact, bondage and suspension. My class will have a demo bottom to showcase one of the styles of wax play. And the class will get a chance to try a little bit of wax to get a feeling for the sensation. TES Members $5 Students & Military with ID $10 Reciprocal Groups $10 Non-Members $20 Cash Only`
Hypnokink Group: Hypnotic Headspaces: The Spectrum of Transformations with GleefulAbandon May 30, 2018 @ 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM The Alchemical, Studio C 104 west 14th street, New York, NY, United States We talk about hypnosis as a multi-tool that can do everything from create an intense connection between partners to create a fun and silly role play scene. And that's true, but in essence, these wildly different scenarios can be expressions of the same but powerful transformative effect. What do being deep and cataleptic and being a ""Bimbo Dinosaur"" have in common? What is it to change who you are, a little or a lot, for a period of time with (or for) another person? This introspective class, taught through the filter of D/s from a submissive perspective, will include demos that highlight that at its core, a hypnotic relationship can be about the ever-changing expression of self of a person (or persons) and what it means to be transformed from the outside in. While it's geared more intermediate to advanced, the larger ideas of what we're discussing are applicable to any kinkster. GleefulAbandon is a hypnofetishist, submissive, and queer (in multiple senses of the word). After over five amazing years in the Scene so far, she is constantly thrilled by the wonderful people and weird experiences (and vice versa) that she encounters. She is an active volunteer for TES as Media Representative.
