In-Person: Beyond “No Means No”: Consent Negotiation & Safer Play

Think you know consent? Let’s level it up.

This class goes way beyond “no means no” and gets into the real art of negotiation, communication, and connection in BDSM and intimate play. Learn how to actually say what you want (and what you don’t), set clear boundaries without killing the vibe, and use safewords and check-ins like a pro.

We’ll explore tools like the Wheel of Consent to untangle giving vs. receiving (because yes, there’s a difference), plus practice real-life negotiation and in-the-moment communication skills you can take straight into your scenes.

Expect interactive exercises, honest conversations, and a supportive space to build confidence, clarity, and better play—for you and your partners.

Bio:
Goddess Coko (she/her) has been a member of the NYC kink scene for over 20+ years. She is happy and excited to be back serving on the TES Board as Secretary, a role she is familiar with from her earlier time on the Board. Goddess Coko serves as Chair of the Communications and the Promotions Committees, Vice Chair of Community Relations, and volunteers on the POC Committee.

Goddess Coko is also a Founding Mother of ONYX PEARLS NY-Northeast and former Co-Head and Web Mistress of ClubFEM NYC. She is a proud member of Goddess House NJ, a FemDom-led Leather family.
