We'll be going over terms, negotiation, consent, safety, basics of rope handling, but most importantly, how to have fun on your very first day. As someone who has been in the community for a very long time, and taken a lot of 101 classes, BoundToFly has observed that many instructors often get mired in the details and has seen eyes glaze over with boredom or confusion . . . Although led by two members of the Conflict Resolution Facilitation team, you do not have to be a TES Fest attendee in order to participate, nor do you have to speak if you choose not to. In Circle, the simple act of being present and/or lending support can be in itself a valuable experience. And as always, what's said in Circle....stays in Circle!
