The curriculum includes: Part One: Things We Wish People Had Told Us When We Were Starting Out! • The Basics of BDSM—What you absolutely need to know in order to get started! This is the class that you won’t want to miss if you’re new to (or curious about) kink or public play! • Meeting Potential Partners for Play or More – Special emphasis for those who are socially awkward, shy or newly (or perpetually) single. • Negotiating and Scene Etiquette – How to: Ask for what you want, Generally expect in a scene, Handle things don’t go as planned, and Minimize the Awkward! that can sometimes happen Part Two: Iconic Skillz and Sensations! • Bondage – Rope and more! Tie or be tied with more confidence. Get the foundation for using rope or other means in a less risky, more fun way. We’ll also cover the different types of rope and methods of bondage, and you’ll have the chance to try out tying or being tied with a wide range of materials. • Impact Play – Canes, Paddles, Floggers and Whips! Getting more effective use based on your particular needs, and what to look for when choosing implements. Compare the various implements in terms of personal preference as a top or bottom. Part Three: The Bonus Round--The Discovery Center! • Violet Wand – Intro to Electricity play. • Pervertibles – Check out the fun that can be had with ordinary household or office items!
