• IN PERSON Class – Fantastic Feet With soumise

LGBT Community Center 208 W 13th St, New York, NY, United States

Foot fetishist, fashion victim or just someone who wants to learn more about the amazing structures that get us where we want to go, this class has something for you. A quick look at the anatomy of the foot will be followed with hands on exploration (feel free to use a consenting partnerʼs feet or your own) to increase mobility and arches, rescue some sore little piggies, and maybe even some delightful ways to torment the toes. The explorations work best with bare feet. If you have a tennis ball or pinky rubber ball, these work particularly well for this class. Bio: soumise's lifelong passions for movement, education, and helping people are evident in her presentations. A former professional ballet dancer turned world ranked international style ballroom competitor, she has spent her 30+ year career blending the artistry of dance with the sciences of biomechanics, anatomy, kinesiology, rehabilitation and exercise. Her Master encourages and supports the integration of her professional interests into the BDSM lifestyle. soumise presents diverse workshops and educational events that engage, inform, and entertain participants of all levels in a variety of subjects. She holds certifications in a wide variety of movement and somatic modalities and will usually think to ask "do you really want to know" before she totally geeks out in her answers to questions in these areas. When sheʼs not teaching, she enjoys making lifestyle friendly clothing and accessories for her Etsy store, ViceDeSoumise1. • IN-PERSON – Introduction to Hypnosis

LGBT Community Center 208 W 13th St, New York, NY, United States

Hypnosis can be the most versatile toy in your bag if you know how to use it right and our class looks to get you off to a good start. In this introduction we'll be practicing fundamentals, clearing up misconceptions, and making sure you leave with skills that you can use right away. Through a series of hands (brain?)-on exercises, demos, and good old Q&A, Dizzy and Faye will help you start building the foundation you need to get started as a hypno-kink newbie. Dizzy is an awkward pile of gay snakes  and occasional kink educator who just so happens to be pretty good at hypnosis (if she does say so for herself). Focused heavily on pushing its creative limits for kink she has been teaching at conventions and groups on and off for the last decade. Through her upcoming classes and presentations, she hopes to bring her favorite hypnotic tricks to a wide audience of fellow weirdos To register in advance (strongly preferred): If you already have a TES account, CLICK HERE TO REGISTER MEMBERS -$10 / NON-MEMBERS - $25 Create a Member Portal account Members: Use the same email address you used when you purchased your membership. • IN-PERSON – Breaking Down the Futo

LGBT Community Center 208 W 13th St, New York, NY, United States

In this lab-style workshop we will break down what a futomomo is, what makes it work, and of course what makes it fail. After working through the theory of what a futo tie is and some common elements of it, we will all come up with a brand new version of a futo and analyze it to see whether it would work or not. Suspension experience is not required for this workshop, but for those interested in it, futos will be evaluated for suitability in suspension. This class is beginner-friendly and requires only that you know how to tie a single column and a half hitch. One to two hanks of rope will be necessary. While this workshop is not presented as a self-tie activity, the futo lends itself well to being tied on oneself. Presenter Bio: Corwin is a top with a wide range of interests. He enjoys Japanese-inspired rope bondage, all manner of impact and knife play, as well as fear/sensation/humiliation/objectification play, and inflicting terrible dad jokes on his partners. Having discovered his kinky side from a newspaper cartoon at a very young age, he continues to pursue new and interesting kinks. A lifelong student, he believes kink can be viewed as a set of skills you can continue improving, from bettering your D/s communication to honing your spanking cadence. His most recent passion is community building and expanding consent-based culture in the kink scene. In 2020 Corwin opened Upline, CT's premier rope studio where he produces events and classes on a variety of kink-related topics.
