TES Fest

Youngscientist, our TES Fest 2025 Chair of Safety, will be training all volunteers who signed up to be Dungeon Monitors for TES Fest 2025. If you're interested in learning for future TES events but didn't sign up, please register anyway—education is knowledge capital for our community. As a Dungeon Monitor, you’ll learn how to: Develop skills to facilitate a safe dungeon environment Work effectively with a team Communicate respectfully and clearly Identify possible safety risks Understand the dos and don'ts of the role Devise solutions and alternative approaches To review best practices on skill-based play, and boundaries of consent in a dungeon environment Bio: @Youngscientist has been active in many facets of the scene for over 15 years. He’s volunteered and worked on staff for at least a dozen organizations throughout that time, including being one of the few Pro-DM’s in the NYC area. Knowledge has been one of his main driving forces, which led him to start teaching early on. He’s probably most well-known for teaching Wrestling/Grappling classes and hosting Jello and Lube Wrestling events.
