TES In-Person – Sensual Capture May 28 @ 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM Upon Confirmation In Your Confirmation, New York, NY, United States Sensual Capture is a trauma-informed workshop that will give players the framework and tools to safely engage in abduction in play scenes. Players are asked to reflect on what draws them to abduction play, and how to navigate the many risks and sites of both trauma and desire before engaging in play. Players will leave with the key concepts needed to compose a scene. A condensed demonstration of a basic, beginner-level abduction scene will be performed, demonstrating safe, low-impact methods of physiological and physical control. Bio: Lady Dahlia Trieu is a transfemme prodomme and kink educator of Vietnamese heritage. Her career in the sex industry began in queer porn, performing with AORTA Films, and later, Colorblock Films. She has been an organizer for Please Daddy, a BIPOC and transfemme centered play party, Commodity Fetish, an annual kinkshare, among other LGBT BDSM events. In her past lives, she has been an educator, combat soldier, and poet—all of which have been surprisingly useful in her practice as a dominatrix. TES In-Person – Gift of the Gab: Verbalization for Better Bottoming June 25 @ 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM LGBT Community Center 208 W 13th St, New York, NY, United States Beyond "talking dirty", verbalization is the skill of using your words to process pain and sensation, using your words to increase the connection to your top, using your words for proactive consent, and using your words to help you flow in and out of headspace. This class will include drills to help decrease creative inhibition, accurately describe sensation on the fly, and start verbalizing in your own kink practice. This class will be taught from the bottom POV, but there will be a ton for tops to learn and do as they help their bottoms vocalize. Please bring a journal, especially if coming to this class solo.
