  • TES Presents: So You Wanna Host A Munch, moderated by Zero

The Alchemical, Studio C 104 west 14th street, New York, NY, United States

Back in the early '90s, a group on alt.sex.bondage decided to meet offline at a burger joint in Palo Alto, California. The result was the first ""Burgermunch"", later shortened to ""munch"".* Since then, the munch has become a mainstay of alternative sexuality communities, often serving as the entry point for many newcomers. So what does it take to start and run a munch? Join our panel of veteran munch hosts and organizers as we talk about finding friendly venues, dealing with attendees, navigating scene politics, and more! *Source: The Loving Dominant, 3rd Ed, by John and Libby Warren, Greenery Press, 2008

  • TES Presents: Everything But The Kitchen Kink- Combining Different Forms of Play to Create Unique Scenes, with Zero

Electro-needles!?! Knife wrestling!?! Fire stomping!?! Combining multiple forms of play can be a great way to create unique and memorable scenes, break out of stale routines, and get more out the toys already in your toy bag. It also introduces new risks and novel challenges. In this workshop, we’ll explore how to approach combining different forms of play, mitigate the risks, and learn to make the familiar new again! Zero Fälschung is a sadistic dominant with a love of rough body play, knives, rope, whips, and more. He is also a TES Board Member, and Chair of the Socials and DM Committees, and will be serving as Chair of Safety for the third year in a row at TES Fest 2019.

  • Trick Whips: Whip Cracking Fundamentals, with Aaron Bonk

This class will cover the basics of whip cracking technique as well as offer technical advice to more advanced students. Recognizing that people are often at different skill levels, the instructor will do his best to provide beneficial instruction to each class member whatever their level of experience. Also discussed will be the use of single tail whips in kink scenarios with heavy focus on safety and etiquette. A few whips will be on hand for general use, but the student should bring their own whip if they have one. Some starter practice whips will be available for sale for $50. Students should bring ear plugs (or headphones), eye protection (safety or sun glasses), and wear long pants. A wide brimmed (cowboy-style) hat is also a good idea but not necessary. Aaron Bonk is a circus arts and Kink performer holding 2 Guinness World Records in whip cracking and known for his show at the New York Renaissance Faire which features juggling of many dangerous sharp objects and culminates in a Florentine style double fire whip routine. He’s performed for numerous fetish events in Ohio and Florida, at Renaissance faires across the country, and on cruise ships around the world. • TES Presents: Life in Plastic – Doll Play 101 with Alex and Madeline

Dehumanizing a partner can be a very dark activity or it can be very fun and cute. Doll play, normally considered a subset of dehumanization play, can also go either way. We will focus on transforming a partner, regardless of gender, or yourself into a decorative toy, as well as enjoying and enhancing this unique headspace. Warning: a small amount of blood and/or electrical play may be involved.
