• IN-PERSON: Tarot for Tops

LGBT Community Center 208 W 13th St, New York, NY, United States

Discover how tarot’s symbolism, storytelling, intuition, and imagination can enrich power exchange, inspire creative scenes, and foster deeper communication and connection. In this discussion-based class, you’ll explore the foundations of tarot with a traditional Rider-Waite deck and learn practical ways to use the cards in your kink practice. Together, you’ll consider how tarot can support intentional scene planning, negotiation, reflection, and aftercare—while keeping ethics, agency, and communication at the center. You’ll be invited to engage your Clair-abilities, mind’s eye, and imagination to develop scenes that connect mind, body, and spirit. Through examples and group discussion, you’ll leave with fresh ideas and usable tools for bringing tarot into your relationships and play. This class is open to Tops, bottoms, switches, and anyone curious about the intersection of tarot and BDSM. All experience levels are welcome, whether you are opening a tarot deck for the first time or have been reading for years. No prior tarot experience is needed. Please bring a tarot deck if you have one; extra Rider-Waite decks will be available so everyone can participate with cards in hand. • ONLINE – 2026 Fall Membership Meeting and Election Night

    Virtual

TES Membership Meeting Join the conversation shaping TES! Our Membership Meeting takes place twice each year to conduct official organizational business and give members a direct voice in the process. The fall meeting—held in October—is especially important: TES officers are elected then. All members in good standing are welcome to attend, participate, and make their voices heard. How to Join Your link to join will be included in TES’s October members-only newsletter, The Eulenspiegel Mirror. Be sure to check your spam or promotions folder—important messages occasionally enjoy a little hide-and-seek. These meetings are for TES members only. If you do not receive your link, contact secretary@tes.org. No downloads or special software are needed. Simply use the meeting link in a compatible web browser during the scheduled meeting time. If you have trouble connecting, try a different browser, as certain settings may interfere with access. Please note that the link is active only during the meeting. Participate Your Way Join in as much—or as little—as feels comfortable. Cameras and microphones are off by default, so you can watch quietly, participate through the chat, or speak up when you are ready. TES has selected a platform that balances accessibility and privacy, but no online platform is completely secure. TES privacy rules remain in effect, and violations may result in consequences; please review the Online Meeting Terms of Service. For your own protection, please treat any online event as though it could be recorded by a third party, and review TES’s online privacy guide before attending. What member action would you most like to spotlight in the opening: participating in governance, voting for officers, or helping shape TES’s future?

  • IN-PERSON: TES Monthly Munch

Skylight Diner 402 West 34th Street, New York, NY, United States

We'd love to have you at the TES Monthly Munch! Whether you're new to the scene, an old friend, or just curious, our monthly munch is a great opportunity to meet fellow kinksters in a low-key, low-pressure setting. There’s no need to RSVP, and everyone is welcome—you don’t even have to be a TES member to join us! We gather on the first Monday of every month (if it's a holiday, we'll meet on the following Monday) at an alternative lifestyle-friendly diner in NYC. Our hosts will be there to give you a warm welcome and answer any questions. Attending is free; you just pay for your food, and please remember to tip your server well! We also ask that you wear "vanilla" (non-BDSM) clothes. This is a vanilla event. Respect others' privacy and consent by not displaying any kink activities in this public space. A Note on Safety This event is held at a public diner, and while we highly encourage all attendees to be vaccinated against COVID-19, we cannot control what the restaurant requires of other patrons. Please assess your own risk and act accordingly. We will have a discreet contact tracing option available, which we encourage you to use. For more information, including a code of conduct for newcomers, please visit our FAQ page. We can't wait to see you there!
