All intentions to run for the Board of Directors, Parliamentarian, or Arbiter must be submitted in writing by letter of the nominee to the Elections Chairs. The intent to run for a position must be received 60 days in advance of the elections; the deadline this year is 11:59 pm on Friday, August 25th. Please take notice of that date. Intentions to run submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. The election itself will take place on Tuesday, October 24th at 7:00 PM.
Candidates must have been a member of TES for at least one year in order to place their name in nomination. Any candidate for the TES Board must be willing to have their real name used on TES tax filings, as well as any other legal document as would be required. In addition to their intent, candidates will be invited to submit an election statement not to exceed 250 words. This will be due no later than 11:59 pm, Friday, September 1st (one week after the filing deadline).
Elections statements will be restricted to how candidates wish to represent the membership on the board.

Due to a number of interim appointments, there will be seven (7) seats on the voting board up for election, along with the positions of Parliamentarian and Arbiter.
